Preliminary Responses to Self-Study Guiding Questions or Prompts

Please submit the Committee’s Preliminary Responses to the following questions to Dr. Prager no later than the end of September. Use as much space as needed.

Please keep in mind that the Institute seeks CEA accreditation for its English-Plus Course of Study only. Also, please keep in mind the possible Resource needs generated by other Stnadards. The Committee should feel free to add other preliminary responses to any Standard.

Question(s): In light of the CEA requirement for Student Services Standard 2 and Recruiting Standard 2 that the school or program provides academic counseling to help international students understand the US system of education and academic behavior and college admissions assistance, should the Institute consider designating staff for college admissions advisement?
