Program Review
Procedure: Every year the President will form an ESL Plus Self-Review Committee. The committee will be made up of administrators, faculty and staff. The committee will refine the self-review document, and complete the review. This includes the gathering of data, analysis of data and recommending changes. The evaluation and recommendations will be presented at the annual September Development Day.
Implementation: Following the review and recommendations overview, the Dean of Academic Affairs, English Chair and ESL Faculty will develop a plan to implement the changes, inclusive of tasks and timelines. The Dean will form and charge committees to ensure these tasks are completed. If recommendations are extensive, long-term plans will be developed.
Evaluation: Self-Review completed and submitted to President. Changes recommended. Changes implemented.

ESL Plus Curricular
Review
Procedure: The Dean of Academic Affairs shall establish a curriculum committee. The Dean of Academic Affairs will charge the committee with reviewing, evaluating, and assessing effectiveness of curricula. This will include collecting data on student performance, retention, movement within program, student progress on course outcomes, and faculty and student satisfaction.
Implementation: The committee members will meet monthly beginning in January to disseminate charges and identify tasks needed to complete charges. Sub-committees may be formed to complete tasks.
Evaluation: Curriculum reports generated. Changes suggested and reviewed by President. Approved changes implemented.

ESL Plus Student
Assessment/Achievement Review
Procedure: The Dean of Academic Affairs shall establish an assessment committee. The Dean of Academic Affairs will charge the committee with reviewing, evaluating, and assessing student achievement via assessment materials. This will include reviewing Institute’s database of bi-monthly exam scores, in-class assessment activities. Additionally, the committee will review rubrics and writing and speaking assessments.

Services Policies and Activities Review
Procedure: The President charges with Student Services Committee (made up of Dean of Students, Dean of Administrative Services, and two Faculty Student Services Associates) with charges. Charges include the continue review and revision of policies and procedures associated with student services.
