Event Summary:
Students introduced themselves, talked about their educational and professional achievements, and at the end of each presentation they told funny stories from their lives.
Event Summary:
The lesson included methods: Writing
1. The lesson started from the
activity in which students were writing on a piece of paper one word they
associated with love, collected by the teacher afterwards. brainstorming and talking.
2. Students enthusiastically
presented international quotes about love, written by famous authors and
philosophers in their native languages (Portuguese, Spanish, French, Russian,
Italian).
Students speaking the same
language, translated the main idea to their classmates.
Reading.
3. Students were reading out loud statements
about love prepared by them in advance.
4. They performed love songs in different languages, such as
English, Russian, Ukrainian, Italian.
At the end of the class students
were very surprised when they received candy for the Valentine’s Day.
Event Summary:
The lesson was organized as a
Farewell to Irina Yushchenko, a student from Russia.
Irina sang a folk song, a
romance , and popular Russian songs, which were translated into English
beforehand (“Felt Boots”, “Flowers”, “Hope”, “My Honey’, “Swans’
Faithfulness”).
Students wrote farewell wishes
on a card, made personal drawings and cards that they presented to Irina.
During the class performance
there were shown via Internet images and videos of winter in Moscow, historical
places of Moscow - Irina’s native city.
Students expressed their
enthusiasm and delight with dances: a sentimental waltz and a Russian round
dance named “Khorovod”.
Event Summary:
The farewell program was prepared by students to say goodbye to their classmate Irina Yushchenko. A song, a dance, a greeting card were presented to her by the students.
Irina sang a lot of popular Russian songs, which were translated into English.
A cozy atmosphere could be felt in the classroom.
Event Summary:
1. The first part of the lesson was Show-dances.
A Japanese girl Mio performed 2 dances: Lady Gaga and Traditional Japanese dance. Then she gave a little dance lesson for some volunteers. They learned a traditional dance from Mio.
2. The second part of the lesson- the work with vocabulary, connected with the dance and describing their personalities. Students were given funny test.
Event Summary:
Students learned more about their classmates: their countries, their hobbies and their interests.
Student introductions were made through "Special Questions", which were given during the lesson.
Using the internet, students showed the cities where they come from, their favorite dances, books of favorite writers, works of favorite painters.
This topic encouraged students: to read the question, to tell their ideas, to explain their ideas, to listen to each other and to ask questions.
During the break, they listened to the piano played by teachers Dr. Dolina and Dr. Engulatova.

1.The students, who were leaving the school thanked the teacher and the class for the wonderful time spent here at Spanish-American Institute.
2. The musical program was prepared for the students, who are going back to their country:
piano music,Ukrainian folk songs with explanation in English ( Galina), Thailand dance(Kanokkorn Phorgtummarug)
Event Summary:
“Body Art” - the presentation of the student from Russia- Olga Filippova. She showed to the students a technique of body painting to the volunteers. During the conversation, the students discussed this type of art.
Event Summary:
Students performed a task-"on-the-spot". The task was was given during this lesson. The task contained special questions about traditional dances, songs, cuisines, games, famous art of their country, etc.. Musical pause - popular music or songs from their countries: Italy, Russia, Germany, Venezuela.

1. Famous sculptors of France (Rodin) , Italy (Michelangelo).
2. History of Statue of Liberty.
3. Discussion about art.
During the lesson students answered questions about these famous sculptors; their favorite artists and painters.
Interview was followed by an interesting and dynamic discussion “What’s art and what’s handicraft”?
Event Summary:
Student from Russia, Valery, presented his own compositions on piano.
1.Students described their feeling about his music by writing adjectives about his melodies and drawing the pictures. Then they shared their impressions about this compositions.
2. Information about popular composers and styles of music from 17th, 18th, and 19th Centuries were given by the teacher during the lesson.
Event Summary:
Students showed the countries of origin using the Internet. They were very much interested in this topic, showing some beautiful places, their customs and traditions being observed in their countries.

Musical presentation of a student from Ukraine - Galina.
She sang different kind of songs (traditional folk songs and popular songs of different parts of the country); talked about musical traditions, costumes,dances,showing art of the national dances on the Internet.
Event Summary:
Presentation by a dancer from Spain - Adan. He talked to his classmates about the art of dance, showing serious and funny styles of dancing, choreography on the Internet, taught volunteers simple things to dance beautifully.
During the lesson, students were asked to be contestants, answering questions containing comprehensive information about dances.
After the lesson, the students asked to continue this topic, organizing thematic lessons about Dances.
Event Summary:
Presentation by a student from Burkina-Faso, Yameogo Gervais: classical music (Beethoven, Mendelssohn), Beetles, and his own composition and improvisation.
- Brainstorming technique was used to answer questions about styles of music, lives of composers and their compositions;
- work with vocabulary (“Let It Be”);
- creative thinking to describe student feeling, drawing pictures and discussion about students' feelings after listening to music.
Event Summary:
Students had the opportunity to listen to a professional musician from Italy, Marco, a classmate who sang songs with him. His repertoire included Italian songs, classical and modern, Beatles, Adele, etc.
During the lesson, students played a game answering the questions about Italian culture.

Musical presentation by Marco, a student from Italy.
1. Singing songs - Italian, Beatles, lovely modern songs.
2. A trivial game: “How well we know Italy”.
3. Writing card with wishes to Marco.
Cozy atmosphere was observed during the lesson.
Event Summary:
Student’s presentation about culture of Mexico. Students got comprehensive presentations about cultural legacy of a country, stories about painters like Frida Kahlo, Diego Rivera and their ART, folk music, historical places of the country.
Event Summary:
1. Student from Venezuela, Leopoldo Ruiz presented to his classmates his country, answering questions about famous persons in Art, folk music and dance, unusual places of the country.
2. Other cultural traditions in art were shown to the students by the teacher. Filipino folk dances and music of Russian composer Tchaikovsky.
Event Summary:
In this concert everybody listened to classical and popular modern music. Beethoven Sonata 8 (Patetica) - Elya Musaeva -piano.
Song of Bruno Mars “ Talking To The Moon” , J.N.Howard “My Heart Will Go On” (from Titanic) - Singer is Almira Karembaeva, piano is Wilfred Tapsoba.
Band: piano, guitar, contrabass -Wilfred Topsoba, Moussanev, Ivanje. Singer is Alfredo Sanchez. There was a very high level of performance done by real artists.
Event Summary:
Students were shown national folk dances of their countries and talked about them: Japanese dancing wearing Kimono and teaching of volunteers, Samba (Carnaval), Russian “Berezka”, Ukrainian “Kapak “, Austrian and Slovenian folk dances.
During the lesson, students answered questions about ballroom dancing, history of waltz, and sharing their opinions about national folk dances of their countries.
