Conduct interviews and surveys with students to ascertain abilities,
personalities, and aspirations, etc. meet with and hold office hours for
students to counsel; provide counseling for students facing personal and
professional challenges and be “safe harbor” for them, encourage
students to explore further opportunities and challenge themselves; design,
organize, and execute training programs catered towards ESL students to teach
how to develop interview skills and perform job responsibilities; stay abreast
of developments in career-building industry; provide students with information
on college programs, financial aid, trade schools, and internships.
Requirements: Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling or related with
4 courses related to professional development training and/or organizational
practices and challenges in the workplace.
