Position:

Instructor, Full-time position

Duties/Responsibilities:

Teach or instruct out-of-school youth and adults usually beyond the age of compulsory schooling.

The classes will be on basic High School Equivalency Diploma Preparation, Pre-GED (now TASC – Testing Assessing Secondary Completion) Foundation for GED Preparation, and basic business concepts/skills such as business mathematics, communications and accounting; prepare course outlines including lessons, assignments, workshops & demonstrations to teach principles, techniques and methods related to business courses and skills based on the materials prepared; prepare and administer tests and grade/evaluate students’ work, test and progress and make suggestions for improvement; and provide academic and personal advice on career or special academic problems or interests to students. 

Requirements:

 Bachelor’s degree in Business or Economics related field.  Must hold valid NY State School Teacher Registration.
