Position: Instructor Duties/Responsibilities: Teach or instruct out-of-school youth and adults usually beyond the age of compulsory schooling. The classes will be on basic High School Equivalency Diploma Preparation, Pre-GED (now TASC Testing Assessing Secondary Completion) Foundation for GED Preparation or related courses. Prepare course outlines including lesson plans, assignments, workshops & demonstrations based on materials prepared; prepare and administer tests and grade/evaluate students’ work, test and progress and make suggestions for improvement; and provide academic and personal advice on career or special academic problems or interests to students. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field. Must hold valid NYS teacher registration.
