Duties/Responsibilities:
Teach or instruct out-of-school youth and adults beyond the age of compulsory schooling. Classes are on basic High School Equivalency diploma preparation (now TASC Preparation), and computer-related courses; prepare course outlines including lessons, assignments, workshops & demonstrations to teach principles, techniques, and methods related to courses and skills based on the materials prepared; prepare and administer tests and grade/evaluate students’ work, tests and progress and make suggestions for improvement; provide academic and personal advice on career or special academic problems or interests to students.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science with minimum 4 IT courses required. Must also hold NYS teacher registration.
